There are countless beautiful travel destinations on our planet. I would not say, that some are better than others, because every place has something special to it, but some places will certainly blow your mind. These are my top 5 travel destinations, that you definitely have to see in life…

Top 5 travel destinations that will blow your mind

First of all I have to say, that it was really hard to decide, which travel destinations are my 5 favourites. There are so many and could take 5 other ones immediately as well. But if I had to decide, I would have to go for the following five, because they are just incredibly special. I know every traveller has his different favourites, but these ones are mine so far

Unbelievable beauty at Whitehaven Beach

This one had to be under my top 5 travel destinations. During my time in Australia I went to the Whitsunday Islands with my girlfriend. It lies in the north east of Australia close to the Great Barrier Reef. We went on a sailing trip with 25 other backpackers. We did some snorkeling, a bit of hiking on the small islands, saw some humpback whales and stayed at Whitehaven Beach. I honestly could not believe what I saw. To me that was pure beauty. Nature at its finest.

There are some lookouts on the island where you have a fantastic view onto Whitehaven Beach and the whole area. Absolutely stunning. Especially when the bay slowly starts to fill up with water. It also is suppose to have the finest sand on earth and you can definitely see that. The sand actually really is white as well (that is where the name comes from 😉 ). And the water colour there… just magnificant! You really have to see this!

Whitehaven Beach is easily one of the best travel destinations on the planet

Strong nature at Milford Sound

Milford Sound is definitely under the top 5 travel destinations for a reason. Usually most travellers would maybe not even consider to have this place as a top 5, but for me it has to be. Milford Sound is just spectecular! When I was in New Zealand, I went there with Kiwi Experience. It is located in the southwest of the southern island of New Zealand. We did a boat trip around the area. You basically drive through the fjords for a couple hours. We also had the chance to see some seals and dolphins. Very nice!

Sometimes you can even spot some orcas, if you are lucky. Some of the waterfalls you see so along the way are higher than 100 meters. The captain drives really close to them so you can feel the whole power of this wonders of nature. When I stood there, watching what surrounded me, I was just fascinated! You would not believe how beautiful and pure this place is at the same time. So make sure you go there whenever you are in New Zealand.

One of the best travel destinations is Milford Sound

True paradise at Maya Bay

This is place is paradise. Heaps of people consider this place to be one of the most beautiful travel destinations on earth and I do too. Maya Bay is located in southern Thailand close to Koh Phi Phi. It is so wonderful! You can only reach it by doing a boat tour. There are many different companies that offer these tours and they are definitely a lot of fun. You will stop at some other nice spots like Monkey Bay on the way. Maya Bay is the place where the movie the beach with Leonardo Dicaprio was taken.

It is not suprising, that they took this place, because it is truely amazing. Nowerdays a lot of people go there every day. Most of them are tourists. A couple years ago, there have not been that many tourists visiting this place. Just after the tsunami in 2006 it got really popular and people started to notice this incredible piece of nature. So go there as soon as you can before it gets even more crowded.

Old temples at Angkor Wat

These temples are also one of the best travel destinations ever. They are more than a thousend years of age and have been found again in the 18th century by some french colonial masters. They are located in the west of Cambodia. You do not even need to be very interested in culture or history to like this place. Just the style of these temples and the feeling you get when you explore them is so cool.

There are many different Cambodian companies that offer tours. You will need some days to explore all the temples in the area, but you can also see a lot in a day tour. You will start really early, but therefore you will see something that you probably have never experienced before. It is very different to everything else I have seen on my travel – really unique. You also gonna find the temple, where Lara Croft – Tomb Raider was filmed. Everything you find there definitely has postcard potential to it and it is one of the best travel destinations on the planet!

Wonders of nature at Halong Bay

The 7th new wonder of nature! This is one of the travel destinations you have to see, when you are in Vietnam. It is located in the north east and just a couple hours away from Hanoi – the capital of Vietnam. I went there, when I travelled through the whole country with a motorbike. You can visit this place with a sailing tour. You basically drive along thousends of big rocks that loom out of the water.

During these tours you will also stop to see some really impressive caves, to do some kajaking and maybe visit a small island nearby. It is just magnificant! The extraordinary beauty you will see, is just not from this world. It really took my breath. Especially when the sun goes down than the ocean and the rocks start a beautiful symbiosis that is hard to explain. You honestly just have to see this yourself.

What I learned from visiting these places

As you can read here I also want to focus on the personal development, that travelling gives to you. It might sound a bit melancholic, but visiting all these places made me realize, that there is so much beauty in this world. Our planet has so much to give. You could travel your whole life, and still did not even see half of what the world has to offer on beautiful destinations.

It showed me, that we are all responsible for this world. We should treat it with respect. If not for us, than at least for future generations. Because if we don’t, than the day will come sooner or later where our kids do not have the opportunity to visit these fantastic places anymore. That is why we should all do our part and treat mother earth in the right way, so that we can still enjoy the fruits of it in the future!

very good gains. If you know of any please share.

      Hey kellee,

      thanks for your comment! 🙂

I use the Yoast SEO Plugin. As far as I know it is the best and most common Plugin for that. But there might be others out there.

      Cheers Volle

I’ve been browsing online more than three hours today,
yet I never found any interesting article like
yours. It’s beautiful value sufficient for me. Personally,
if all site owners and bloggers made good content
material as you did, the net might be much more useful than ever before.

  • When a storm comes up... 😮☁⚡
.
You gotta be able to go through it 👊
.
Sometimes when you travel or during life in general, there will be storms coming up
.
They come with towards you with massive power
.
So what can you do? 😞
.
You can either cry about it and be a sissy OR you fight through it, learn from it and eventually start dancing in these storms
.
It's always a matter of perspective when such things come up
.
What I figured for myself is that some of these storms (actually most of them) will knock you down BUT you just gotta keep standing up and start walking again
.
Eventually you make it through, it will all be good and you became A LOT stronger
.
So now I actually always think: the more storms the better, because you can only grow from them! 💪

  • Almost nothing in my home country can beat a great sunset at the Baltic Sea 🌅
.
Germany actually has a lot of awesome places to visit, but the north is something really unique
.
It's a bit similar to Danish coastlines, but it still has its own special charme .
Why do I say this???
.
I say this because I want to point out, that you don't need to travel to far away to experience something really beautiful 💛
.
I recognize this more and more every single day
.
I definitely admit that I like to go to foreign places, which are faaaar away from home but sometimes true beauty can also be found just right around the corner...👌
.
Always remember that, when you think about your next journeys 😉

  • Gday mates... 😀🙌
.
Kangaroos are one of my favourite animals for a couple reasons 😉
.
1. They are family loving pack animals 👌
.
2. They can sit on their tail (just looks so cool 😂)
.
3. They are really good fighters 💪
.
TELL ME: What is your favourite one and why?

  • One of the best things I did this year was to go to Siquijor Island in the Phillippines 🌴🌞
.
I sometimes say how important it is to stick to your routes, be proud of where you're from and love your home town/ country
.
But I also always point out bigtime how important ut is to travel to far away foreign places 🌏
.
There is not a lot in this world, which brings so many positive things into your life
.
It has countless positive effects on us, if we leave our comfort zone to go to a place we have never been to, where noone speaks your language and where culture is completely different 💯
.
It teaches many valuable lessons
.
A big one I have learned at Siquijor Island was how important it is to calm down and relax completely 🙏
.
Often times we get stuck in the rat race
.
We never really leave the rat race completely and appreciate what surrounds us
.
Not even if we have reached our dream destinations, which is kind of a shame if you think about it
.
That's why its so important to learn how to fully chill out
.
It's almost the only way to recharge your batteries completely in order to be able to appreciate the present and to fully conquer the goals ahead of you again 💪
.
So always make sure to book a ticket to the most remote place you can possibly go to once in a while... 😉

The Cetina Canyon is something truely special and definitely an insider tip along the Dalmatian Coastline
.
If you ever have the chance to visit this place, just go for it 😉
.
It's absolutely great!

  • Why do I like travelling so much?
.
What is it that's so fascinating about it?
.
Why do I think about it pretty much every day?
.
Why do I post about it all the time?
.
What is it that gets me incredibly excited when I think about the upcoming trips that I want to do?
.
I can tell you, there are MAAANY reasons for all that! 👌
.
I could list them all day long, but two of the biggest ones are this:
.
The first thing is that when you travel to a foreign country you always learn something new, which is very valuable every time, if you look at it from a right perspective 🙏
.
The second thing is that you'll make memories for life, each and every single time you go on a trip - just like this tour to Ayers Rock in Australia's red center 🌏
.
And isn't that what we all try to achieve?
.
Learn for life and make great memories as much as we possibly can to tell & teach our children and grand children lessons/ stories, which they can use to ultimately have a great life themselves???
.
TELL ME: what story can you tell/ whathave you learned that you can tell your grand children in 50 years? 😉

  • Watching the endless rice fields during sunset in Siquijor Island was a really special moment for me... 😍🙏
.
After a whole day of fun with jumping from 10m high cliffs in Salagdoong Beach and exploring the whole island with a scooter, this was the perfect end to the day
.
I didn't intend to make it a great day, it just happened naturally
.
Sitting by the rice fields recaping the whole day showed me that sometimes the best thing you can do is to just relax and go with the flow 😎
.
Because in the end, everything turns out to be good. ALWAYS! 💯

  • Paradise on earth! 😍🌴🌞
.
Fiji is an absolute dream destination and especially the Yasawa Islands will drop every beach & sunlover's jaw
.
Fiji might actually be my favourite destination so far 🙈
.
Mainly because I always wanted to go there since I was a little kid
.
I always pictured this place to be the most beautiful place on earth and it's probably easily under the top 10 I reckon
.
Going there only showed me, that you have to work hard to reach your goals and you have to always keep them in mind
.
You won't get anywhere in life, if you always lose focus 🎯
.
Keep the eye on the price .
Know where you want to go and start moving🏃
.
Never stop
.
Even if it's just one small step a day. That's still better than no step 💪
.
Eventually you get where you want to end up at and that will always fill your heart with pride and happiness
.
And that's the point we all want to end up some day - in the land of happiness 😉
.

  • One of the best sunrises on the planet in the middle of the red desert 🌅
.
This sunrise taught me something, that I'll keep with me forever
.
It amazes me how certain moments just stick with you for the rest of your life
.
These particular moments just become one of your greatest memories instantly
.
Most of the time, it's the spontaneous decisions you make, that end up to be one of the greatest 😀
.
Seeing the sunrise at Ayers Rock was exactly a decision like that
.
I did not really plan to visit Australia's centre at all when I was there, but it was completely right that I did
.
Otherwise I would have not made such a fantastic memory
.
And only because of one thing: because I was spontaneous and stepped out of my comfort zone 💪
.
I am very grateful for the small lesson that sometimes "just going for it" ultimately leads to situations that you never forget ⏳
